The 46th annual J.C. Webb Memorial Dove Shoot at Marion Military was a resounding success. The day was filled with excitement and camaraderie as attendees gathered to support the Corps of Cadets and enjoy a day of hunting.
Thanks to the generous support of corporate sponsors, local supporters, and dedicated alumni, a total of $207,000 was raised for the MMI Foundation.
The event, held at the scenic Safford location hosted by Sam, Lynne, and David Givhan, was a highlight for many attendees. The day’s activities included a raffle drawing, with the grand prize being a $23,000 shotgun custom designed by Kevin’s Fine Outdoor Gear & Apparel. The lucky winner of this coveted prize was Roy Crawford.
But the generosity didn’t end there. Several other attendees were also fortunate enough to walk away with prizes, including Michael Lynch who won a gun and shell cases, Ethan Parden who won a turkey hunt, Todd More who won a Beretta A400, and Dudley Lawson who won a chartered redfish trip.
The success of the dove shoot would not have been possible without the support and dedication of the community. The MMI Foundation is grateful for the continual support of the event’s sponsors and attendees, who make it possible to provide vital resources and opportunities for the Corps of Cadets and look forward to continuing this tradition for years to come.
