While deer-hunting season is over, another hunting season is just on the horizon: turkey season. Alabama hunters can shake off the winter blues and gear up for the 2024 turkey season through the “The Best Turkey Season Ever” webinar hosted by the Alabama Cooperative Extension System and is set for March 12 at 6:30 p.m. via Zoom. The webinar is designed to benefit turkey hunters of all ages and has been helping hunters prepare for the last four years.

All turkey-hunting enthusiasts are invited to tune in to the webinar. The webinar is designed to provide a snapshot of turkey hunting in Alabama from beginner to expert. Topics for this year include: Environment, Equipment, Rules and Regulations, Preparation and Mounting.

Presenters include Alabama Extension wildlife professionals and Alabama Department of Conservation and Natural Resources wildlife and freshwater fisheries professionals.
